If you haven't already guessed by now, the type of photography genre I am in is fashion/editorial and portrait photography, this is the genre I hope to make my living in, however I do enjoy other genres of photography of course. At the current moment I work for a brand called PassOut Clothing which is founded and run by a close friend of mine, (you can guess how I got the gig ha). On the day I took the photographs of my beautiful friend Laura which are above, I was taking photos for the new summer range which was being released that next week, and so I took the opportunity after the shoot to take one of the models and photograph them around the location we shot at, and these were the photos we produced together. The past couple of months I have been mainly using studios and artificial lighting for my shoots, as all my shoots were practice for one big shoot which was in a studio, and I think I got too used to using a backdrop and lights. So I was pleased to get back to my roots and use natural lighting in this shoot, I love the freedom you have with working on location!
